The sumo robot that can't turn
We all have failures and successes
This is NOT one of my successes
I thought I had come up with a novel idea...
Here's my thought process:
What is the key sumo?
Answer: Traction. You need traction to push the other robot out of the ring
How do you get the best traction?
Answer: You maximize your surface are touching the floor.
How can I get more area to touch the floor.
Answer: Build a folding robot
Problem: It doesn't turn
Why does it not turn? See if you can figure it out...it took some head scratching for me to understand what was going on.
