Recipe for a really cool party device:

1 twenty foot canvas tarp
2 really big speakers
15 light sensors
1 halogen light
1 Parallax Basic Stamp 2 (used to create the midi signals)
1 hard drive full of audio samples
Add some airbrushing for decoration

General operation

Shadows over the light sensors embedded in the tarp, either play short samples or start looped audio tracks. Fun and excitement are soon to follow...
